Production Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the production process, including assembling, operating machinery, and maintaining the quality standards of finished products. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Assemble products or components according to specified instructions or production schedules.
  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. Ensure all machines are working properly and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products during and after assembly to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify defects or deviations and report them for correction.
  • Packaging: Package finished products as per customer or company requirements, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the management of materials and supplies, including stocking and maintaining inventory levels for production.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure production goals are met and that workflow is efficient.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Suggest improvements to enhance production processes and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Further education or vocational training in manufacturing or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery operation.
    • Ability to read and understand production instructions.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • May be required to work overtime during peak production periods.
  • Work environment can be noisy, and requires wearing safety equipment such as ear protection, gloves, and safety goggles.

Fulfillment/Shipping Associate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Fulfillment/Shipping Associate to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Picking: Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders. Ensure that the correct quantity, quality, and product are selected as per order specifications.
  • Packing: Pack products securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring that items are protected and ready for delivery. Use the correct materials for packing (e.g., boxes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts).
  • Shipping Preparation: Label and prepare orders for shipment. This includes printing shipping labels, updating tracking information, and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring items are properly stored, and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure products are free from damage and match the customer’s order. Report any discrepancies or issues with orders.
  • Shipping Documentation: Ensure that all shipping documents are accurate and complete, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
  • Order Accuracy: Double-check orders for accuracy before shipping, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are included.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and use proper lifting techniques. Adhere to warehouse safety rules, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of the warehouse team to meet daily goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping environment is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:

    • Good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs, depending on warehouse requirements.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may be noisy and require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
