BOOST OXYGEN DONATES OXYGEN CANISTERS TO LOS ANGELES RESIDENTS IMPACTED BY THE WILDFIRES
MILFORD, CT – Boost Oxygen, the worldwide leader in portable supplemental oxygen canisters, is donating portable pure oxygen canisters to Los Angeles residents impacted by the ongoing wildfires in the area.
Boost Oxygen is working with Los Angeles-based non-profit Happy Habits Foundation to distribute the pure oxygen canisters. The Foundation has created “Project Provide L.A” – a relief drive centered on taking preventative health measures for communities hit by the devastation.
Because of the wildfires, the air quality is dangerously unhealthy in many areas around Los Angeles. The Foundation currently has volunteers working throughout the city and surrounding areas to help residents with recovery efforts.
“Happy Habits reached out to us for oxygen canisters, and we were happy to help,” said Rob Neuner, Founder of Boost Oxygen. “The physical destruction from the wildfires has been horrible, and it’s important to also consider the health and respiratory impact caused by the smoke and dangerous air quality for millions of residents. Breathing wildfire smoke can cause severe respiratory problems, especially for older adults. We hope other companies and individuals will donate to organizations like The Happy Habits Foundation that are helping communities all over Los Angeles recover from the fires.”
